Savannah banana would be so sad if she knew all the backyard fun Ryder and I had this week while she was at school. So I'll be a nice mommy and not tell her... it can be our little secret. The weather was perfect... warm, but not hot, just enough wind for the perfect amount of bubble fun, and a brand new (yes I completed it this week) blanket to lay out on the grass. Mister mister had it made. He sat out there and entertained himself for nearly an hour. Between the dogs, the bubbles, and the fringe on his blanket, he was set up with several things to keep his attention.
I swear Ryder looks 18 months old in this next picture. Hard to believe sometimes that he is only 9 months (on Monday). Little boy is turning out to be pretty observant too. He loves copying things that we do. If one of us coughs, he coughs... if we laugh, he laughs... you get it. He has also picked up on the fact that when I drop something or something doesn't go quite right I say "uh-oh". He now says "uh-oh" when he drops his toys or food on the floor. It's pretty funny. He also waves now... hello and bye bye. Oh, and he gives kisses... if you ask him for a kiss or make the kissing sound he will lean in and press his lips to yours. Such a sweet boy. I love that he is starting to do more and more big boy things.
Another thing he has picked up on... peek-a-boo. He has always giggled when I played it with him... but now he understands how to participate in the game. Pretty funny.
