Breakfast With Santa

I am playing some serious blog catch up over here. I have a thousand blog worthy posts about both kids, and it seems like not enough time to get them all loaded and typed up. Crazy holiday season. Last weekend I took the kids to a pancake breakfast with Santa. Ryder had no idea what was going on. I was actually half tempted not to bring him, but that would have meant no Santa picture of my sweet babies together, so he had to tag along. Normally we head up to the mall to see Santa. I wanted to try something different this year because I am usually disappointed with the quality and the outrageous prices of the pictures taken. I was really impressed with the breakfast with Santa. For $10.00 (a person) you got a really good breakfast, a picture with Santa, and tables and table of crafts for the kids to do. Plus there was entertainment and the fire department (which is always a hit) was there. It was well worth the money. The pictures were still cheese, but I am pretty sure that is going to be hard to avoid anywhere you go. I had a good time, Savannah had a good time, and Ryder, judging by how well behaved he was, also had a good time.

These are pictures that were taken with my camera. Another perk of not going to the mall... I was allowed to stand there and snap several pictures while the photographer took their own. On more than one occasion, the mall has not allowed personal photography.
