Luckenbach, Texas

Yesterday we loaded up the truck and took a mini road trip down to Luckenbach and Fredericksburg. We stopped at a few small towns along the way to check things out, but the main goal was making it to Luckenbach. We looked pretty awesome strolling into the tiny town (if you can call it that) of Luckenbach with a baby and a 4 year old... while all around us we were surrounded by bikers drinking beer. There were a few other non biker types, but for the most part, it was biker central. Savannah got a kick out of the little store and all the chickens and roosters running around. We stayed for a little bit... listened to some music, drank a beer, signed Savannah's name on the wall of the store, took some pictures, and then took off for Fredericksburg. We made it there in time to walk around for and shop for a couple hours. Ryder started to get fussy towards the end of the day, so we quickly packed up and started to head home. He was actually really good up until that point. So far he has been a pretty good traveler. Savannah always was, and still is an excellent traveler... so I am hoping we are just as lucky with him. All in all it was a fun day out of the house (finally)!
