Savannah Meets Her Baby Brother

For the few weeks leading up to Ryder's arrival Savannah was on a crazy emotional roller coaster. One day she was excited about becoming a big sister and then the next she was in tears telling us that we only love the baby and not her. I never doubted that she would love him, but I also knew that it was going to be a hard transition. So far things have been going as expected. She wants to help us with everything... she loves helping us take care of him. Despite all that she still cries at least once a day because she feels left out. We are trying our best to include her and reassure her every chance we get, but I think that for the most part this is just one of those things that only time and a whole lot of patience can remedy.
