sweet savannah: Rangers Opening Day 2011

Friday Savannah and I were lucky enough to get to go to the Rangers game for opening day. The plans were pretty last minute and our tickets were standing room, but it was all worth it. We had a blast! Savannah gets so excited for ball games... she couldn't wait to put her hat on and get going. I love, love, love that she is becoming a little baseball fan. At the game she was great, she was even quite well behaved at the tailgate party we went to before the game. I will say that having an actual seat at the game makes a world of difference when you are going with a kid. It is challenging to keep them interested when the game is not always right in front of them. Thankfully the kid park was there to keep her busy and happy for a few innings. She played a little t-ball and got some face tattoos. Then we moved on to hot dogs and cotton candy and a win for the Rangers. It really was a great opening day!
