Halfway Home

I hit the halfway point of the pregnancy last week. Crazy to think that we are almost done... it really helps having Savannah around. Having a little one to take care of really helps take your mind of all the worry that comes with having a baby. Savannah has been such a trooper and is great at keeping my spirits and energy levels up. This past Wednesday we headed to the doctor for our big 20 week sonogram. Everything looks great... Eric received more confirmation that we are indeed having a boy (he's in denial for some reason) ... baby BOY seems to be healthy and growing at the proper pace. Savannah is ready now, more than ever, for the baby to come out. Every time I tell her I have to go to the doctor she asks if it is time to take the baby out. She really does not understand why making a baby is taking so long. Hopefully the next several months fly by for her.

This is a picture that Savannah drew of me with a baby in my tummy. She made a point to tell me that she gave the baby a happy face because he is so happy to have her as a big sister.
